Certuma LinkTerms of Service

Certuma, Inc. ("Certuma", "we") provides Certuma Link, a service that helps licensed US clinicians triage patient messages with an AI assistant under their supervision. By using Certuma Link you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1 · Service overview
Certuma Link routes patient messages to your AI assistant, which gathers a structured picture and prepares drafts for your review. You are the licensed clinical decision-maker at all times. The AI does not provide medical advice independently and any draft must be reviewed or approved by you before reaching a patient.
2 · Eligibility
You must be (a) at least 18 years old, (b) hold a current and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state where you treat patients, and (c) have a valid NPI number. We verify these during onboarding.
3 · Clinical responsibility
All AI outputs are drafts. You are responsible for the clinical accuracy and appropriateness of every reply that is sent to a patient. Sending an AI-generated message without your review is not permitted. You agree to comply with applicable laws, including HIPAA where you act as a covered entity.
4 · Payments
Patient payments are processed via Stripe Connect. Certuma takes a platform fee (currently 5% for Starter and 3% for Practice) on each successful charge. Payouts run on a rolling weekly schedule. You can change prices and cancel pending charges from your dashboard.
5 · Privacy & security
We process protected health information under our Business Associate Agreement. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell personal data. Patients can request export or deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6 · Acceptable use
You agree not to use Certuma Link for emergency triage. Patients are reminded to call 911 or go to the nearest ED for emergencies. You also agree not to misrepresent your credentials, use the service to prescribe controlled substances outside applicable laws, or share access with non-licensed individuals.
7 · Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that put patient safety at risk, or for which we are legally required to suspend service. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
8 · Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Certuma Link is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Certuma's aggregate liability is limited to fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9 · Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email and post the updated version here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
